TENZAN SAKE BREWERY　CO.,LTD

The Gion River flowing in front of brewery is a clear stream that collects the Tenzan underground water and is one of the most famous spots for fireflies in Japan. The Tenzan stream underground water is the ideal water quality for sake making and as such we use the catchphrase "Great sake lies in the village of the water and fireflies." In addition, the Meiji Kura, Taisho Kura and the Showa Kura are designated and registered as cultural assets of Japan.
