1Tsuiji Ide
Drawing water from the Kikuchi River, this is an 'ide' that provides water to 220ha worth of rice paddy fields. Said to have been built by Katou Kiyomasa, in the past it was also used for everyday-use water. The area from Kikuchi to Tofuku-ji Temple is a famous location for hotels.
2Akahoshi Ide
Another 'ide' said to have been built by Katou Kiyomasa, a dam was set up in Tozaki-mura to draw water, which provides water to the rice paddy fields of in the rural landscapes of Akahoshi and Ideta.
3Kiyomizu Spring Source
Right behind a private house, a small stream of water flows out from the roots of cedar trees that are several hundred years old. The water is used for agricultural purposes, and for growing delicious "Shichijo Rice."
4Maegawa River Source (Kameo Castle Ruins Park)
A spot where you can re-hydrate yourself. Chosen as one of the best waters in Japan, many people come here to draw water. One of the 17 outer castles of Kikuchi, Kameo Castle, was located here, and a water wheel spins in the pond.
5Shichijo Onsen Dome
A natural hot springs location with large bathtubs. They have a rich variety of popular baths which alternate days for men and women. They also have a restaurant and souvenir corner. After cycling, you can relax and wash away your sweat.
6Shichijo Melon Dome
This facility stands out because it is shaped like a melon, the representative product of Shichijo. Sweet melons, processed melon products, and fresh vegetables are popular. There's also a restaurant.
