This route circumnavigates Kinko Bay and the magnificent scenery which earned it designation as one of the hundred most scenic spots in Japan. The Satsuma Peninsula and Osumi Peninsula surrounding the bay are full of roadside stations, day-use spots, relaxing hot springs and much more. You can use the ferry to adapt the course however suits you.
