From Nobeoka City, you will ride along the river to Hinokage Town, followed by Takachiho, home to myths and legends, and then to Gokase, where you will find an abundance of nature, including valleys and waterfalls. The route takes you to Heitate Shrine, situated in Kyushu’s “navel,” across Tsujun Bridge, Japan's largest arch-type aqueduct, and through famous sites in Kumamoto on the way to Mashiki Town.
