Hizen Hamashuku 3km Townscape Strolling Course
This is a course that travels around the Hamashozu-machi and Hamakanaya-machi Preservation District for Group of Traditional Buildings as well as the Hachihongi-shuku Preservation District for Group of Traditional Buildings.
The sake brewery streets along the route are very popular among tourists.
Shiota-tsu/Hizen Hamashuku Preservation District for Group of Traditional Buildings 17km Course
This is a course that travels through two Preservation Districts for Group of Traditional Buildings: "Shiota-tsu" and "Hizen Hamashuku"
If you get tired please feel free to take a rest at the "Yutoku Onsen Takara-no-yu"
Nonbira Tokashima Yutoku Inari Shrine/Hizen-Hamashuku
This is a Kagoshima cycling road that passes through an Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings called "Hizen-Hamashuku", as well as one Japan's big three Inari Shrines, the Chinzei Nikko "Yutoku Inari Shrine."
Kawauchi Cycling Road
The Kawauchi Cycling Road offers ideal conditions for biking while gazing at reservoirs, mountains, and forests.
Visitors can enjoy cycling through nature alongside friends and family.
Miyazaki Sadohara Saito Bicycle Route Line
Miyazaki Prefectural Route 365 Miyazaki Sadowara Saito Bicycle Line, commonly called the "Hitotsuba/Saito Bicycle Route", crosses through pine forests on the way toward Hyuga. Along the route there are numerous ancient/medieval historic sites, primarily ancient tombs. There is also leisure facilities such as the Miyazaki City Phoenix Zoological Park and Florante Miyazaki for visitors to enjoy.
Genkai Cycling Road
A 15km long cycling road that runs along "Fukushige", "Imajuku", "Nishiura", and "Futamigaura" in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City.
(This is not a bicycle-only path; pedestrians also pass, so please be careful when riding.)
If you want to continue cycling, you can also tour the Itoshima peninsula.
Fukiagehama Cycling Road
The Fukiagehama Cycling Road (Kagoshima Prefectural Road Kaseda-Hiyoshi Cycle Road) utilizes the sites of railroad ruins and other locations.
This road is excellent for those interested in history and culture, as it is surrounded by the ruins of stations and iron bridges.
Kimotsuki Riverbank Cycling Road
The Kimotsuki Riverbank Cycling Road is surrounded by river and greenery; in spring the rapeseed and cherry blossom flowers bloom all along the riverbank.
The start (goal) spot is near the Aira Upper Mountain Ridge. The Aira Upper Mountain Ridge has the Iwaya-no-misasagi (burial mound) which is the imperial tomb of Emperor Jimmu and his mother. It takes a while to get there, but we recommend you give it a try.
Tour de Ikijima Special Course
The Iki Cycle Festival is the largest Cycle Road Race in Kyushu where cyclists from all over the country gather along the island coastline on the special course (public road). Enjoy moderate ups and downs and scenic Iki views.
